We’ve lived it!

The Clean Burn Company was born from necessity. After having the majority of our forest property devastated by the Tubbs fire in 2017, we were faced with what to do next. Do we chip the dead and dying trees and debris? Do we cut it up and move it out? Do we leave we leave them to fall and create new fire risk and other environmental hazards?

We did it all!

We tried chipping what we could but that only dealt with the small stuff and just left new piles of combustable material on the ground; not to mention many days of chipper activity - and chipper breakdowns.

We tried cutting and hauling. Have you ever seen or had to pay for 70 giant dump truck loads of logs being hauled to away? It’s expensive, messy and just kicks the can down the road to be someone else’s problem, and we only made a dent in the effort.

We knew there had to be a better way and air curtain burner technology was it!

Our team lives it!

Our team is staffed by California firefighters. Who better to manage burning and forest management practices than highly trained and seasoned fire experts?

We believe firefighters are true heroes and could not be more proud to have them manning our crews. It doesn’t hurt that our son is one of the fine men leading this team.
